Context
We created six new packaging designs for Oba Hortifruti's private label products inspired in Arab dishes, featuring meat and cheese sfihas, kibbehs, and falafel.

Packaging design.
Development
The standout feature of the packaging is the intricate graphic pattern, rich in details and arabesques, drawing inspiration from oriental monuments. Geometric and organic patterns smoothly blend and repeat, forming a captivating composition.
Photographic direction played a crucial role in the project, ensuring that the images convey the product's quality and integrate with the overall aesthetics of the packaging. Viewed from the top, the products emerge from the plates, subtly merging with the graphics.
In selecting typography to highlight the commercial name, we found inspiration in the characteristics of the traditional Islamic calligraphic instrument, the qalam. We aimed for a style that captures the personality and lightness of a dry bamboo pen, achieving a typography that communicates and embellishes.
The boxes needed to stand out in refrigerated areas alongside established competitors. To achieve this, we relied on colors as a distinguishing factor for flavors, giving each package prominence at the point of sale. Warm colors blend with cooler tones, and each package is accentuated with a highlighted color, such as lime green, for example.
Our goal was to achieve a result that showcases the product's roots while incorporating the contemporary design of Oba's private label brand guidelines. The shapes of the graphics and typography provide oriental characteristics, while the color compositions introduce the modern touch desired by the client.
